"New life for layoutdesigns.com"

Posted on January 10th, 2023

After a long long time living in the archives, I've got this website back up. This is just a partly edited and static version of the website, resurrected from an old backup copy. Just nearly enough to bring it back to life. Most of the layout images should work. Commenting does NOT work.

Years ago I've acquired this, then defective, website from Emrys, to have it recovered some day. This is the first part of recovery, awaiting a nice little rebuild, to eventually be a part of the Carendt.com family.

If you have any ideas for the future of layoutdesigns.com, please let me know :)

Enjoy visiting this website after all these years! :)

Kind Regards,
Gert Wierbos

Owner of Carendt.com

Ha - you thought this site was just mouldering away, gathering dust, didn’t you? Admit it!

Well, there’s life in the old dog yet. We’re back, so dust off those designs and send in your plans for publication!

I aim to update weekly, subject to there being content available.

What happened to 2003?! At long, long last a new layout’s been added to the site - Iain Climie’s “Kickback Quarry” now appears on the mini page. The site could do with a redesign when time allows, but some new content would be welcomed.

We’ve a bit of a rarity for this latest update - a large plan from the almost legendary Carl Arendt - a full twelve feet long! I’ve also added a small effort of my own to the mini page.

It’s been a while since our last addition, but we’re exceptionally proud to present an excellent plan from Lennart Elg (and our first large plan to boot).

Part 3 of Geren W. Mortensen’s growing plan - another mini plan for you.
